Talent Advisor (TEMPORARY)

BioMarin is on a mission to transform the lives of patients with serious and rare genetic diseases — and we need an experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter to help us bring top talent on board. This full-time remote assignment is perfect for a seasoned recruiter (10–15 years) who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can pivot across multiple business functions.
What You’ll Do:
  • Own full lifecycle recruiting for US-based FTE roles across Commercial, Corporate Groups, and Technical Operations (Supply Chain & Global Manufacturing) — your focus will shift based on hiring priorities.
  • Manage ~20 requisitions at a time, delivering a high-quality candidate experience while keeping pace with evolving business needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers, including senior leaders, to provide strategic guidance and insights to support hiring decisions.
  • Leverage sourcing expertise for hard-to-fill roles as needed.
  • Use Jobvite (our ATS) to track requisitions, manage workflows, and generate insights.
  • Work autonomously, but collaboratively, as a key member of the US Talent Acquisition team to ensure consistency in hiring practices and positive candidate experiences.
Who You Are:
Technical Skills:
  • 10–15 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, ideally in biotech or life sciences.
  • Experienced in managing multiple high-priority requisitions across functions.
  • Familiarity with Jobvite preferred, or other ATS platforms.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Teams, Office 365, MS Outlook/Office.
  • Strong sourcing skills for hard to fill or specialized roles.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and recruitment best practices.

  • Adaptable, self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and consultative skills.
  • Self-motivated; able to work proactively and collaboratively with the broader Talent Acquisition team.

  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to manage competing demands effectively.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to partner effectively with hiring managers and secure top talent.

In the U.S, the salary range for this position is $ 51 to $ 60 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors. The salary range for this position is: $51 to $60. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
