About Commercial
Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
- Assist the cross-functional team in the development of US brand strategy and support its implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to cultivate relationships with prioritized stakeholders by planning payer advisory boards and other payer engagement activities.
- Support the US Value & Access teams (Value & Access Strategy, Managed Market, and Market Access and Pricing Strategy) in developing resources / tools for customer engagements and provide insights to internal medical teams on evidence gaps relevant to specific accounts.
- Monitor emerging scientific evidence, market research and insights activities, and leverage clinical expertise to identify meaningful insights to US Value and Access teams.
- Support agency of record and third-party vendors to develop and execute promotional tactics in alignment with global and US brand strategy, as necessary.
- Gain an understanding of the various payer models and translate clinical and health economics data to deliver targeted value propositions to payer customers.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time Doctor of Pharmacy degree student in an ACPE-accredited school or college of pharmacy during the 2024-2025 school year with anticipated graduation in 2026 or 2027.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must reside within United States borders and able to work remotely and travel to meetings as planned.
- Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and September
- Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proven ability to work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high level of productivity to complete assignments on-time.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively engaging with all members of the company.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
