Role Summary
The Sr. Executive Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to VP Level leaders at BioMarin. This person will also support some of the respective function leadership team members with a subset of key responsibilities. The Sr. Executive Coordinator’s assignments will be varied and complex in nature, often requiring considerable judgment, creativity and discretion in resolving issues. This individual must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a continually changing environment with little to no guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendar scheduling with multiple stakeholders across functions, including proactive conflict resolution, prioritization of meetings and lunch arrangements, while demonstrating proactive follow-through and anticipating downstream impacts
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements in compliance with company travel policies, with meticulous attention to details
- Prepare, review and submit expense reports in alignment with T&E policy.
- Serve as an ambassador for VP level leaders and respective leadership teams, facilitating communication with other members of the team as needed. Anticipate the needs of the teams, providing appropriate support and guidance to ensure the departments are operating efficiently
- Act as a dynamic “elevator” for the organization, staying grounded in across-teams' realities while elevating strategic messages for internal alignment
- Coordinate logistics for on-site and off-site meetings such as town halls, LT offsites, etc., taking ownership end-to-end and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Support new-hire onboarding logistics and activities including workspace setup and welcome coordination, with an eye toward creating a smooth, welcoming experience that reflects the two functions’ culture of dependability and excellence
- Maintain and update MS Outlook distribution list in a timely manner.
- Plan and coordinate large cross-functional meetings, workshops, and senior leadership engagements.
- Serve as the primary contact for office moves and visitor coordination including chaperoning guests on campus.
- Reserve office space for visiting remote staff.
- Manage office supply procurement, printing and shipping logistics.

Education & Experience
- A minimum of 5 – 10 years of executive level support VP, S/EVP, or C-level and office administration
- Experience in environments where adaptability, reliability, and growth potential were essential will be considered a strong differentiator
- Strong PC computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Concur expense reporting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

The salary range for this position is: $102,400 to $140,800. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
