Job Description

The Senior Product Manager, PKU Marketing will be responsible for leading Key Customer Programming for the US PKU Marketing team.

The SPM will be a key contributor on the PKU Marketing team responsible for supporting initiatives for both HCPs and patients. They will lead speaker bureau, conferences and KOL engagement, as well as support the HCP and Patient marketing leads in developing marketing materials. They will be responsible for management of key agency partnerships. The SPM will partner closely across marketing functions, as well as be the key brand liaison to Marketing Operations.They will work closely with various cross functional stakeholders (Legal, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Digital Operations, the Field) and external vendors to implement strategy and tactics aligned to established business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties And Job Functions
  • Lead the development of the HCP and Patient speaker bureau content for PKU marketing, including branded and unbranded materials
  • Lead speaker bureau training and communications
  • Manages all operations and logistics of speaker bureau, in partnership with medical education agency and internal partners, including budget and contracting
  • Works cross functionally to ensure scientifically accurate and compelling presentations
  • Leads planning and execution of all HCP and Patient Congress activities
  • Plays a key support role in advisory boards, including content development and insight generation
  • Collaborates closely with HCP and Patient leads to ensure broad communication of advisor insights and alignment on marketing direction and coordinated efforts for the success of the brands
  • Leads the development of key derivative marketing materials across channels, and partners with Marketing Operations to ensure all materials remain in compliance
  • Contributes to strategic documents and leads the development of the tactical plan related to opinion leader programming
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies

  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal, verbal communication (listens carefully to others points-of-view, adapts style and content based on audience), and writing skills, including the ability to simplify complex scientific topics through storytelling
  • Proven project management skills including timeline and budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, plan execution and performance management
  • Helps analyze moderately complex problems and situations, provides logical recommendations and leads any required action planning
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, domestically to conferences, advisory boards, team meetings and agency meetings
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years’ experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Rare disease experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in marketing, science or related fields preferred
  • Proven track record of marketing fundamentals, including advisory boards, brand plan development and execution, strategy and sales and commercial programs preferred

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $ 137,800 to $ 206,800 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
