About Commercial
Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
- Landscape analysis for a therapeutic area, indication, and/or modality of interest and derivation of implications for BioMarin’s current portfolio and future development strategy
- Analysis of recent technology trends in rare disease, including the development of new approaches and shifts in investment
- Company analysis to understand internal expertise and gaps, characterize previous/current strategic thinking, and predict future strategy
- Background in biological sciences
- Able to collect and synthesize a wide range of data and information
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex information into concise takeaways
- Excels at working collaboratively with others
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Currently enrolled student in advanced degree program such as Masters, PhD in the life sciences or MBA candidate that has already obtained a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
- Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall term after the completion of the internship OR have graduated within 1 year of the start of the program.
- Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship for on-site, hybrid roles. Some positions will be open to remote interns, but employee must be within United States borders.
