Description
The AD, Digital Sales Enablement will play a lead role in the definition, execution, and management of our digital sales enablement capabilities and tools.  Partnering closely with field teams, compliance teams, Veeva content teams, brand teams, and Information Technology CRM partners, this role will ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of content with our customers across all global regions.  
The AD will play an important role in the evaluation of our current processes and technology setup looking to define global standards and governance and a roadmap for improved delivery and capabilities.  This role will work to harmonize processes across regions to ensure operational efficiency and will be working closely with a team dedicated to building out integrated Omnichannel solutions.  This role will be required to understand key business strategies, processes, advise, and contribute to the strategic technology roadmap and portfolio, collectively ensuring digital capabilities are enabled across the CRM, Digital Engagement, Marketing automation platforms, and the Business Intelligence and Data platforms and other related technologies.  
This role is an advocate for digital capabilities and is an amazing partner to multiple field and brand teams championing and supporting the use of digital platforms to help achieve Commercial goals.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation, management, and governance of digital sales enablement processes and platforms, ensuring alignment with global commercial objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders (brand leads, compliance, CRM, IT, field teams) and manage relationships with external partners and agencies to deliver high-quality digital operations projects within defined SLAs.
  • Drive the evaluation and harmonization of processes and technology across regions, establishing global standards and a roadmap for improved digital capabilities.
  • Oversee the deployment and integration of digital sales enablement tools (e.g., Veeva Field Emails, eResource presentations, Veeva PromoMats, CRM platforms), ensuring seamless workflows and high adoption.
  • Champion the use of analytics and data-driven decision-making, supporting the design and delivery of operational and content usage reports, and providing ad hoc analytics for priority projects.
  • Act as a key advocate for digital capabilities, supporting field and brand teams in leveraging platforms to achieve commercial goals.
  • Ensure governance and scalable delivery of sophisticated digital campaigns, maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, field, data privacy, and compliance stakeholders to understand business objectives and enable project execution.
  • Develop and deliver training and enablement materials for stakeholders, ensuring optimal use of digital tools and resources.
  • Lead operational support and change management activities for the field force, including onboarding, training, issue resolution, and communications.
  • Analyze and document business processes, recommending and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships as needed, ensuring project deliverables and quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital operations, CRM, or sales enablement roles, with direct experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital sales enablement platforms (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Veeva PromoMats) and omnichannel marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and managing external partners or agencies, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with platform and data governance, ensuring scalable and efficient processes and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly driven, accountable, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required, absent a medical or religious exemption.
Additional Notes
  • This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities.
  • The role requires managing projects, partners, and agency resources, but not direct reports.
  • The Associate Director will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing key decisions and outcomes through expertise and cross-functional leadership.

In the U.S, the salary range for this position is $ 148,600 to $ 222,800 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors. The salary range for this position is: $148,600 to $222,800. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
