Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.


MARKETING LEAD, SKELETAL CONDITIONS ITALY
(Hybrid - Closing date 18th of April 2025)

Reporting directly to the Country Lead, Skeletal Conditions Business Unit, the skeletal condition marketing lead will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to drive growth by leveraging market research and analytics critical to direct brand strategies and optimizing market development plan and tactics. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives. He/she will be accountable for successful management of projects with an ability to push a project to completion. Responsible for establishing superior working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
The role will have high visibility and clear accountability for transformational projects aimed at supporting the goal of allowing broader access to care, in co-ordination with the cross-functional team. The role will represent Italy in the newly established Global Integrated Brand Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans to achieve business goals in collaboration with global marketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs and market access to ensure alignment and execution of brand strategies.
  • Deliver & ensure consistent branding, positioning, and messaging platforms across Italy
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and events.
  • Play a key role in supporting and leading discussions at brand team meetings regarding initiatives that require cross functional feedback
  • Manage the brand's budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to the Country Lead
  • Active contributor and member of Skeletal BU Integrated Brand Team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all brand activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing plans.
  • Experience in competitive therapeutic areas and markets
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for improving patient and business outcomes
  • Willing and able to travel routinely
