Duties


  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Commercial Operations sales data and apply that knowledge to monitor data discrepancies and identify areas to improve efficiency of processes
  • Be responsible for loading and checking quality of dispense data on a periodic basis, ensuring that the reports are accurate, and troubleshooting any issues with appropriate contacts (e.g., external partners).
  • Support, advise, and collaborate to deliver ad-hoc reports and data, as necessary to meet the needs of the department.
  • Assisting in activities (which are not limited to), extraction of data, data manipulation and cleaning of data, and continuous improvement of sales data reports to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Provide end-user training and support.
  • Ownership of the onboarding and offboarding access process for Commercial Operations
  • Monitoring a group mailbox for urgent messages
  • Monitor and maintain various operational and production processes
  • Maintain and administer the existing reporting environment, including scheduling, distribution, managing permissions, and updating reports.
  • Monitor and adjust scheduled jobs in Microsoft SQL Server as needed

Skills


  • 1-3 years of experience working within a Business Intelligence/Analytics environment, with a focus on sales and marketing data analysis.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Salesforce.com, and Oracle BI, or similar BI tools.
  • Thorough research, problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen. 
  • Strong presentation skills, and experience working with all levels of business staff and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented, positive “can-do” attitude with demonstration of appropriate urgency and initiative
  • Detail-oriented, producing high quality work
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships is essential
  • Escalating issues to management as appropriate.
  • Enthusiasm for analyzing complex data sets and converting them into the information which drives business decisions.
  • Ability to proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Strong SQL skills; understanding of data warehousing principals and relational databases.
  • Strong ability to prepare and present data in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner.
  • Experience writing technical documentation and user guides; ability to present in front of an audience, providing end-user training and support.
  • A strong voice for data integrity and reporting quality utilizing best practices and industry standards; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Driven and accountable self-starter, with ability to identify and communicate priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced industry at a rapidly growing organization.
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Automation experience is a plus

Education


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
