Title: Associate Director – Achondroplasia Global Brand Management

Position: Achondroplasia Caregiver/Patient Marketing (Branded & Unbranded)

Location: San Rafael, CA

SUMMARY 

This position in the Global Brand Management team supports the continued launch and commercialization of VOXZOGO for the treatment of children with Achondroplasia. This individual will represent the global voice of the Caregiver/patient and will lead and direct the design, development, and launch execution of the strategic and tactical plans to patients, caregivers, and patient advocacy to effectively support the commercial objectives of VOXZOGO. Working collaboratively with regional brand management and cross-functional departments, this role sets global strategy for patient advocacy engagement and leads global Caregiver/patient VOXZOGO marketing, disease education, and other assigned projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee strategy for the Caregiver/patient, along the treatment journey, from disease education to patient access through adherence
  • Develop and lead Caregiver/patient strategy and effective/compliant implementation of all VOXZOGO marketing for Caregivers/patients
  • Develop strategy and collaborate with other functions to foster partnerships with key Patient Advocacy Groups.
  • Act as commercial lead of VOXZOGO patient marketing on the Global Brand team, enhancing community engagement and disease state resources
  • Develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships in the Caregiver (and HCP) community by conducting field visits, attending PAG meetings, attending Caregiver/patient congresses, speaker programs, partnering on consultant projects, and representing VOXZOGO at other events as required
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing teams and other internal stakeholders and communicate and align on strategy and tactics broadly
  • Work closely with cross functional colleagues to manage timelines and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
  • Develop workstream KPIs and continually evaluate program effectiveness for each target audience
  • Benchmark VOXZOGO approach with industry best practices and continuously look for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and manage assigned budgets proactively and effectively
  • Manage the partnership between VOXZOGO and agencies, suppliers and/or vendors for assigned initiatives
  • Ensuring operational excellence and compliant activation of all key deliverables

EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of pharmaceutical professional marketing experience including launch experience
  • Must have strong communication, collaboration, presentation, interpersonal skills and have demonstrated planning and organizational skills.

 PREFERRED

  • Experience in bone related growth disorders
  • Pre-launch and/or launch experience
  • International experience
  • Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies including market research, advertising, digital, external and internal partners
  • Ability to interact with customers – KOLs, patients and advocacy groups

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors, preferably in life sciences or economics
  • MBA, strongly preferred
