Hemophilia Brand Management Manager

As one of the first to go through the new Priority Medicines (PRIME) regulatory initiative in Europe for a New Gene Therapy Treatment for Hemophilia A, we are now looking to build our Brand team to launch Valrox in 2020 and are seeking the ‘best in class’ talent to shape this journey, in this business-critical role.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

  • Working in the commercial team, this role is focused on driving pre-launch preparations for our development in this innovative hemophilia A gene therapy, currently being evaluated in Phase III clinical trials 
  • The position spans many areas including strategy and market development, commercial planning, and localisation of core brand assets. The ideal candidate will already have hemophilia market knowledge, with a strong understanding and respect for the empowered community of patients, patient advocates and dedicated health care providers 
  • This individual will identify critical business issues and opportunities for growth, collaborating cross-functionally to help develop and drive strategies to prepare for the successful launch

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate as the interface with Zone community stakeholders including healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups to ensure integration of their perspective into all plans
  • Develop Zone commercial strategies and tactics
  • Lead market development and pre-launch projects including input into brand development, annual brand planning, localization of materials and other key projects as assigned
  • Analyse Zone market research and data to develop relevant insights to be integrated in to future plans
  • Liaise with global and regional commercial, medical affairs and other functional colleagues to gain alignment on objectives, advance projects from inception to completion, and ensure pull-through in the zone
  • Day-to-day agency interactions and management of key deliverables as required

COMPETENCIES

  • Previous background in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing is essential, along with strong product management, and launch experience in hemophilia and/or gene therapy, innovative medicines, rare diseases
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for and commitment to advocacy on behalf of the hemophilia community (and/or Rare Diseases) with strong relationship networks
  • Previous experience in implementing local tactics and communicating strategic plans
  • Confident in managing multiple priorities and expectations as an interface between global and regional requirements
  • A proven record in collaborating and facilitating project teams, ensuring stakeholder alignment
  • Proactive, adaptable and agile approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
