Manager, FP&A

This role is part of the FP&A team supporting Technical Development. As an FP&A team we bring quantitative, analytic support to decision-making that enables the company to make strategic, operational, and investment decisions. We do this by having a team of naturally curious individuals with the ability to synthesize business information into financial advice.

The specific roles and responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Build financial plans (LRP, Budget, Forecast) and productivity metrics for technical development organization
  • Partner with quality to understand product manufacturing and supply issues, collaborate with cost accounting to ensure reserves are accurately recorded
  • Analyze variances at a product, cost center, and account level to support variance reviews and improvements in planning
  • Approving purchase orders
  • Develop and share monthly metrics and executive reporting with finance and business leaders
  • Track, analyze and report on key financial and operational drivers to measure performance against strategic and operational goals
  • Develop financial models to support workforce planning, product development and other ad hoc projects
  • Build partnerships with cost center managers and other key partners
  • Partner with EU finance to support global planning, reporting, and analytics
  • Perform ad hoc and deep dive business and financial analyses to inform decision making
  • Other tasks as assigned

Preferred experience: advanced systems experience in Hyperion Essbase, Oracle, PowerBI, and MS Office
