BioMarin’s Technical Operations group is responsible for creating our drugs for use in clinical trials and for scaling production of those drugs for the commercial market. These engineers, technicians, scientists and support staff build and maintain BioMarin’s cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to ensure we meet regulatory standards, and procure the needed goods and services to support manufacturing and coordinating the worldwide movement of our drugs to patients. About the Opportunity:

  • Manage critical TOPS master data business processes and content.
  • Oversee ERP master data and associated processes significant to TOPS business functions
    • Manage the end-to-end business processes associated with Master data within the Oracle platform (primarily item and recipe masters)
      • Facilitate timely, accurate, data population
    • Manage and evolve Data processes and governance, (with manager’s support).
      • Facilitate establishment of, and adherence to, a robust and efficient process for master data, supporting critical business objectives
      • Facilitate/lead the Master Data Council
      • Support the expansion of ERP data knowledge internally
    • Potential participation in next-generation ERP system readiness. Master data readiness will be a significant key component.

Leadership Responsibility:

Lead the overall business team including the management of 2+ reports; lead your team to meet the above objectives with consideration to career development.

This position requires successful partnership/collaboration with numerous colleagues at multiple levels, both in and outside supply chain.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Substantial knowledge of master data content, function, and impact
  • Sufficient understand of associated master data business processes (including what works, what needs improvement)
  • Experience/ability to lead and develop others to meet objectives
  • Ability to help build and work within an inclusive culture, considering DEI in all that you do.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead cross-department initiatives; lead with influence
  • Ability to think progressively and creatively and communicate to drive well thought-out plans and ideas.


  • Understanding of how our master data is used across the enterprise (or across TOPS),
