Market Access Manager (D, A, CH), health policies, new product planning (m, f, d), full-time unrestricted
The person is responsible to coordinate all delegated market access related projects and execute activities to support market access in the countries of the area. There will be extensive collaboration with the Associate Directors Market Access, and the commercial and medical colleagues in the area.
The Market Access Manager reports into the Executive Area Director Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
The responsibilities include the communication and alignment with the EUMEA market access team, the local partners (consultants) and the respective country based members of the area team for all topics relating to market access (value stories, dossiers, pricing strategy and pricing negotiations) and all respective communication and notification with authorities.
Furthermore the person will work cross-functionally with medical, marketing and Market Access EUMEA.
The person will be ready to visit appropriate stakeholders with the respective responsible area or territory head across the area, attend internal and external meetings/congresses locally and abroad as required by the position or ordered by the head of the area.
All activities underlay the applicable laws and codes of conduct internally and externally to ensure full compliance to these for BioMarin.
The position of Market Access Manager reports to the head of the area (Executive Area Director Germany, Austria, Switzerland), in tight alignment with EUMEA market access and Product Planning departments. The role is preferably based in our office in Kronberg/Ts., Germany.

- Qualifying university degree education in BA or sciences / fluent German and English
- Degrees in market access and/or health policy preferred
- University degree in medicine, biology, chemistry or pharmacy.
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry or agency, preferably market access, health policy, marketing
- Team player
- Self-organized and self-motivated
- Hands on approach and excellent communicator
- Able to travel flexibly
